Lakme Fashion Week 2019 saw a lot of sustainable fashion throughout the S/R fashion week. But for the last day, we were in for a rather glamorous treat.
Featuring a lot of couture and pret designers and labels, we love all the collections that graced the runway on the final day at LFW.
For the unversed, here's what you missed from Day 5 at the sartorial aisle:

Mishru, Aikeyah and Abhishek Studio kickstarted the day on a sartorially sound note. While Abhishek's collection drew inspiration from the forest, Aikeyah's showcase was based on myriads of white.
In contrast to these uber-cool ensembles, Mishru Design made us coo over their drool-worthy ensembles. Blushed pinks and muted lavenders fused with intricate embroidery and feminine elements.
And who better for a muse than the gorgeous Diana Penty?
Latha's collection was everything raw, silk and organza, while Shailesh Singhania redefined classic Benarsi with his ensembles.
Aditi Rao Hydari turned muse for the designer, as she sashayed in one of his ethereal creations.
Punit Balana, Misfit Panda and Agami by Neha Aggarwal made for a spectacular showcase. Balana presented a variety on ensembles in pastel hues and florals while Misfit Panda's shoe collection made a lot of eyes pop at the runway.
Agami by Neha Aggarwal was not too far behind with her easy-breezy contemporary designs that can be passed as festive wear.
What an eclectic mix!
We're still trying to get over Shehlaa by Shehla Khan's collection which featured couture ensembles and dreamy silhouettes.
With none other than Karan Johar, Bhumi Pednekar and Isabelle Kaif doing the strut for her, we definitely got a fat dose of glamour while getting sartorially slayed.
Shriya Som too showcased a very dreamy collection that we have memorized by now. With Lisa Haydon walking down the runway for her, we are truly mesmerized!
Such beauty, much wow!
While Ranveer Singh's performance at the Gully Boy X LoveGen, Gully Gen show left everyone in high spirits, we're still wondering if we were sitting for a fashion show or a mini-concert at the arena.
So much energy...uff!
Kunal Rawal's collection, 'Future Past' saw a lot of textured jackets, contemporary take on sherwanis and effortlessly layered ensembles.
Aditya Roy Kapur turned showstopper for the designer and we swore we've not seen anything more perfect! Such a revolution in men's festive wear...we love!
For the Grand Finale, we had none other than the vivacious designer duo Shantanu Nikhil ending this season with a banger collection.
'Recruit' featured couture ensembles in hues like scarlet, black and gold, making for a rather glamorous ending to the S/R fashion season.
With Kareena Kapoor Khan doing the strut for the label, we cannot expect anything less than perfection, for sure!
What a day and what a season! Tell us what you think about it.
