The Day 3 of the 2019 edition of the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive was all about playing with traditional weaves that were executed in modern ways.
Jayanti Reddy soared the oomph at the runway with her delicate, charming and utterly feminine creations. Calling for the perfect shaadi season wardrobe, the show was as dreamy as it could get.
Taking inspiration from Benares, colours like reds, greens, molten golds and her signature purple were seen in the collection. An amalgamation of prints, embroidery, embellishments fused with heavy work, motif and all things pretty was seen.
Ridhi Mehra's collection was a beautiful ode to heirlooms, consisting of references of old, cultural patterns, prints and motifs fused with modern and contemporary ensembles.
The neutral palette for the heavy ensembles in the start was switched up by much-lighter and breezy silhouettes in popping colours on the runway. All in all, a great treat for our eyes!
Calling for colours, prints and all things fun, Label Ritu Kumar's current collection left us shook. From suede dresses and bohemian co-ords to breezy gowns and light-weight onesies, we saw it all!
Making it edgier, leather accessories and chunky boots gave the outfits the extra element.
Well, how chic is this?
