Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019: Kunal Rawal to Arpita Mehta, here are all the sartorial blockbusters from the LFW runway

Paving way for new, bolder and more modish trends, Lakme Fashion Week’s Winter/Festive leg sure created a lot of buzz to keep us sartorially satiated until next time. Be it the shaadi season goodness, and some cocktail extravaganza or the minimalist ensembles and chic silhouettes, we saw it all!

But some of the labels and their oh-so-stunning designs have left a mark on us. Here are all the names that swept us off our feet at the runway:

Like every year, Payal Singhal has managed us to make drool this time too. From her signature aesthetics on pastels and muted hues to ensembles that define understated glamour, Payal does it again and we’re at her mercy.

So pretty, we can’t!

From dreamy lehengas to unreal silhouettes and her signature purple colour, Jayanti Reddy strikes again and how! Putting stars in our eyes with the sheer beauty of her ensembles, the designer yet again makes us dream with open eyes.

So surreal!

This is probably the first time that Riddhi has experimented with prints other than her usual embellishments and motifs drama. Apart from her usual oh-so-pretty lehengas and suits, popping hues, eclectic elements and modern, breezy silhouettes were seen on the runway.

Are you crushing too?

Seeking inspiration from a globetrotter girl’s aesthetic to blend them with his own signature taste and elements, Nachiket Barve’s newest collection ‘The Passport Princess’ was fresh, peppy and utterly modish!

Featuring breezy yet structured cuts with embroidery, light motifs and embellishments and a lot of chicness, the designer’s current range is a calling for the modern woman to embrace the ‘desi girl’ element with a splash of vogue.

Oh, how we’ve missed this one at the runway! The sheer joy of watching her aesthetics paint the ramp was so comforting, we didn’t want her presentation to end! Glamourous, fresh and fun, Arpita surely has us hooked on her collection.

Wouldn’t you admit to the addiction?

Hot and cool, Kunal Rawal brings in the sartorial storm again! Structured shoulders, a fresh take on mandarin collars and bandhgala, artistic layering and contemporary yet traditional silhouettes, we saw it all! We’re definitely not getting over this…Oh Kunal, you did it again!

Can we get a hell yeah?

Pretty things, prettiness and some more of the unreal elements, Anushree Reddy’s presentation was all that and more!

Just the thought of wearing these lehengas makes us want to get married ASAP. Any takers? We just want to try those lehengas, please co-corporate.

Talk about making a statement comeback! The designer left us shook with their eye-popping designs and we are still reeling from the after-effects.

From elegant gowns and sexy dresses to edgy panel-cuts and sultry hemlines, we witnessed real cocktail glamour at the runway and mind you, it was the best-est thing ever!

Punit does it again! Just when we thought the designer couldn’t possibly drag us deeper in awe than we already have, he outdid himself and our expectations…again!

Bright colours, fun ensembles and a lot of charm, the designer has wowed us yet again with his supremely modish ensembles. Are you drooling too?

The grand finale, retro inspirations, chic ensembles, the uber-glam vibe and THE Kareena Kapoor Khan…need we say more?

Well, what are your thoughts?
