Rihanna’s second annual SavageXFenty showcase held in the New York City on September 20 changed the lingerie game forever. Featuring a diverse group of models with varying body types and skin tones, promoting inclusivity and the fact, that there is no bar for feeling sexy, was on the top of her to-do list!
Just like always, Rihanna did something completely out-of-the-box, totally different from anything that's generic and well, you see how that worked out! From the look, touch and feel of her lingerie down to its very tag, she took care of all the details herself and voila, we're digging it!

The one hour show included a BTS video where Riri was seen having meetings and designing clothes. She then kick-started her own show by being a part of the opening routine and the audience couldn’t keep calm…well isn’t that obvious?
Supermodels like Gigi Hadid, Slick Woods and Cara Delevingne took the centre stage dolled up in the label’s collection.
SavageXFenty’s fashion musical had a lot to offer. Lacy lingerie sets, sexy onesies, camisoles, monokinis, babydolls and sheer bodysuits…oh my, so much sartorial goodness!
Riri made sure that she had an eye for even the tiniest of detail. Her collection featured details like frills, mesh, lace, embroidery, tiny embellishments, belts and garters, textures and panels that accentuated the look, feel and touch of her ensembles. Other than this we got to see accessories like sunglasses, bandanas, chains, lockets, handcuffs, rings, body chains, block earrings and headgears accompanying the outfit which soared up the drama and glam of the show.
Artists like Big Sean, ASAP Ferg, 21 Savage, Quavo, Off-set, Normani, Halsey, DJ Khaled, Fat Joe, Tierra Whack and Fabulous performed on the stage and took this show to another level. Unlike other shows that cast only women, Rihanna made sure that her event featured both genders.
What started with soothing opera melodies, turned into a raging blend of different songs and genres of music, and ended with a banging remix number featuring a flash mob!
And needless to say, the crowd went bezerk when she took a bow!
