The Day 5 of the Lakme Fashion Week S/R 2020 kickstarted on a glamorous note and lived up to the expectations. We witnessed some mesmerizing collections which hit us right in the feels.
Kunal Rawal presented us with, what can rightly be said as a ‘sartorial treat’ with his mesmerizing collection in sync with hard rock music in the background and big guns from the Bollywood. His collection was inspired by the city of Mumbai itself, exhibited in the form of handlooms.
Curated for the summer weddings, Kunal’s ‘Rousing’ collection comprised of soothing pastels, subtle embellishments and a blend of festive and street-chic vibes. The colour palette varied from baby pink and soothing ivory to roaring red and bewitching black.
Asymmetrical kurtas, bandh galas, jackets and ethnic three-piece suits were prominently witnessed in his collection.
Showstopper Vicky Kaushal made quite an appearance in an ivory semi-ethnic ensemble that featured a textured waistcoat, pants and a bandh-gala jacket.
