The 5-day fashion fest of Lakme Fashion Week 2020 Season Fluid Digital Edition may have come to an end, but its impact still lingers on. From glitz and glam to sustainable fashion, we saw everything on the virtual runway!
However, there were some collections that managed to strike a chord with the audience for their aesthetically pleasing shade card. From pretty pastels to stunning metallic and rich jewel tones, these collections definitely added colour to our dull quarantine days. Check them out:
PERO
Pero’s fun and frolic ‘Locked in Love’ collection highlighted some soothing pastels in the shades of baby pink, powder blue, beige, mellow yellow and breezy white.
So fresh!
AISHA RAO
Aisha Rao’s ‘Pastiche’ was a kaleidoscope of colours that fitted perfectly in the theme of the show.
Playing in multi-colours, this collection highlighted hues like carrot reds, party pinks, jet blacks, wines and oranges.
MISHRU
Just like Pero, Mishru’s The Lost Summer” was an orchard of vibrant summer tones that lit up the ensembles.
Shades of blush and hot pink were perfectly in tune, while the cloudy blue added a formal charm to navy blue, deep red and ivory that kept the shade card on a great neutral fashion path.
AMIT AGGARWAL
Amit’s ‘First Light’ was a vision to behold, courtesy, his signature metallic hues.
Rich jewel tones including colours of the cosmos like Saturn gold, Venus violet, Gamma green and Earth plum added an element of glamour to his collection.
PAYAL SINGHAL
Along with signature colour-blocked silks, Payal’s collection included sarees in brilliant hues that displayed the beauty of India’s textile heritage.
The shade card of this collection consisted of rich jewel tones ranging from ruby reds to vibrant parrot greens, electric blues and stunning fuchsias.
