Glowing in a rich red ensemble was Sobhita Dhulipala. She was the shining showstopper for Tarun Tahiliani’s Sheer Drama presented by Lakme India at Lakme Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI at Jio World Garden. The red ensemble was inspired by the bold, yet light Lakmé Lip Mousse.
Dreamy drapes caught your eye at the show, enveloping, surrounding, filling and caressing the wearer. It was a luxe prêt collection with the look at ‘lightness’ through the lens of fashion. An ode to the timeless Indian drape, the spring-summer collection essayed tradition in Tarun Tahiliani’s inimitable ‘India modern’ style, preserving the rich textile heritage and cultural identity, in a cerebral yet simple manner for the contemporary wearer.
The models walked across with a flawless base with a range of rich, velvet bold mattes ranging from nudes to bright red lips, marrying the season’s trend statements seamlessly with the theme of the show.
