The ITHR label revived the resurgence of maximalism at Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI. The label’s “Dancing Queen” collection was inspired by the foot-tapping beat of Disco Music and aimed at the glamazons and the free-spirited fashionistas who long to be on the top of the style charts.

The look spelt opulence of a very high level with silhouettes that were studded with Swarovski and crystal elements. Sheers played a stylish game with pastel overtones, while layers created that feminine frothy look. Gold and silver sparkled in all their glory on glittering ensembles and added that disco fashion appeal. Slinky shimmering skirts were teamed with tiny halter bralettes while an assortment of late-night evening wear would thrill the festive party goer.

Making a glittering, showstopping entry, the dazzling Sonakshi Sinha glided in a shimmering, gold, slinky, long, fishtail skirt, worn with a matching bralette and an asymmetric floor-length shrug. Also walking the show were celebrities like Anaita Shroff Adajania, Anshula Kapoor, and Antara Motiwala Marwah.

There was a marked exuberance of breaking all fashion rules and rewriting them to a changed fashion beat for the “Dancing Queen” collection by ITHR.
