Former Bigg Boss contestant Ajaz Khan has landed in trouble after being accused of bashing up a model and the director of a fashion event held in Mumbai. The Vashi police registered an FIR (First Information Report) against the actor and his bodyguards.
Reportedly, Ajaz was the show-stopper for a designer at India Design Week held on April 29 and 30 at the CIDCO Exhibition Centre in Vashi. However, the actor lost his cool when he got to know that he wasn't given a separate changing room. He then got into a war of words with the show's director and his bodyguards attacked the director. A model, tried to intervene and stop the argument also got hit in the process.
On the other hand, Ajaz denied all the allegations. Talking to a leading newspaper, the actor said, "It was a badly organized event, and the models were not provided food, water or AC. I heard some people arguing over the payments as well. The organizers then called bouncers and a fight broke out between them and the models. I tried to stop them. I don’t think my name is in the FIR or else they (police) would have called me. It is irresponsible to blame me. I am a punching bag. A model has taken a video of the incident and I have proof I was not involved."
In October 2018, the Anti Narcotics Cell of the Navi Mumbai police arrested Mr. Khan for being in possession of eight ecstasy pills worth Rs 2.20 lakh.
