Well known television and film actor Kushal Punjabi, on Thursday night, was found dead at his residence in Mumbai after committing suicide by hanging on to the ceiling fan. The news, when broke out on Friday, shook the nation with the 37-year-old actor's untimely demise. Soon, PeepingMoon sources informed that Kushal was battling depression for the last one year and was going through a rough patch on the personal front. Sources said that Kushal had separated from his wife Audrey Dolhen who was in Shanghai at the time of his death. Their three-year-old son Kian was with his mother. Now, as per the latest development, PeepingMoon learnt that Kushal, a day before committing suicide, made calls to his son. Unfortunately, it all went futile as Audrey allegedly refused to allow the father-son duo to talk. If high placed sources are to believed Kushal could not connect with his son.
Sources also informed that Kushal tried to talk to him on December 11 and 12 but Audrey denied and he failed to connect. Post this the estranged couple reportedly had a verbal argument that depressed and emotionally shattered the actor. On December 24, he again called his wife, requesting to allow him to talk to Kian for a couple of minutes. Kushal was said to have also asked for a video calling with Kian but was denied again. Kushal further tried convincing his wife and warned her of what she was doing is unlawful but Audrey was adamant and said that the court would decide upon it.

A broken and shattered Kushal called his sister who is believed to be residing overseas and discussed the issue. He is said to have asked her to connect and find a solution. But ironically Audrey allegedly didn’t revert to Kushal’s sister’s calls.
