Last week Advocate Rizwan Siddiqui was arrested by the Thane police in regards to the Call Data Records (CDR) scam. According to reports, Kangana Ranaut’s name was also dragged into the CDR case. It is said that Kangana shared her ex-beau, Hrithik Roshan’s number with Rizwan.

Last evening, news circuit was abuzz that police investigation has revealed that Kangana Ranaut had shared Hrithik Roshan's mobile number and shared it with the accused Rizwan Siddiqui in 2016. “The reason for that is not known yet, probe is on,” said DCP Abhishek Trimukhe, Thane Police.

ACP Abhishek Trimukhe of Thane Police Station had brought out the involvement of Kangana and Hrithik in the CDR case with lawyer Rizwan. In response to the allegation, earlier today, Kangana lashed out and issued a statement, “When we respond to a notice, we give all details to the lawyer. To assume that these details were used to violate law & make statements based on that assumption and defame an artist is super lame on Abhishek Trimukhe's part. A proper investigation should be carried out before making assumptions.”

Later, her sister Rangoli Chandel also tweeted the same.

While investigating records of the celebrity lawyer in relation to the call data records, DCP claimed that Kangana’s name popped up as she was Rizwan’s client.

Not just Kangana, DCP Abhishek Trimukhe revealed on Tuesday that they have also recovered a Call Detail Records of actor Sahil Khan during analysis Rizwan's cell phone data. As per DCP, the CDRs were shared with the advocate by Ayesha Shroff, actor Jackie Shroff's wife. "Probe found that Ayesha Shroff (wife of Jackie Shroff) procured CDR of Sahil Khan and shared it with Rizwan, this was revealed in an analysis of Rizwan's mobile," said DCP Trimukhe.
