On Thursday, it was Zeenat Aman, the former screen legend who filed a rape case against a city-based businessman. But today, the accused, Sarfaraz has spoken and the situation has taken an entirely different turn. The advocate for the accused claimed that his client was married to veteran actress and that the case is invalid. He even presented their marriage certificate.
The advocated, Kishor Gaikwad, spoke to a leading agency earlier today. He stated, “The case filed against him is false. The defense presented before Court that my client & the actress are husband & wife so there's no question of Section 376. If the plaintiff is influential anything can happen in the case,”

The accused, Sarfaraz has presented multiple documents and evidence in the court. These pieces of evidence essentially prove that he has been married to her in an Islamic nuptial in the year 2016. He has also challenged to bring multiple witnesses to the court to prove their marriage.
Kishor has said that the case isn’t about rape or fraud instead it is a move by the actress to avoid paying money to his client.
The 68-year-old actress filed the case on Thursday in Juhu police station. Soon after that the accused had been arrested and taken into custody by the police. He was even presented to the local court. DCP Nisar Tamboli told another agency that the case has been transferred to the crime branch now.
