Television actor Siddharth Shukla of Balika Vadhu fame was involved in a road accident on Saturday evening, July 22, in Oshiwara. He driving his luxury car, BMW X5 when he rammed into three vehicles on the road before he lost his control and crashed his car into the divider.

The case was taken over by the Oshiwara Police Station and he was arrested later the same day. Reportedly, Siddharth was drunk behind the wheel which caused the accident and while taking a turn on the road he lost control of the steering wheel, resulting in a collision that took place between three to four cars. Post this he drove his luxury car into the divider. He was unconscious when the police found him.

The incident was soon reported by many Twitter accounts who also urged the citizens to avoid the said road. He was charged under Section 297 for Rash driving or riding on a public way; Act 336 for endangering life or personal safety of others; and Act 427 for Mischief causing damage. Today, on July 23, Siddharth has been released after paying a penalty of Rs. 5000.

As per reports, this isn't the first time that the Balika Vadhu fame actor has been involved in road accidents. Siddharth has had a history of accidents and penalties when it comes down to his driving skills. The actor has yet again put himself in a soup of penalties and charges.

Siddharth also made an attempt to establish his career in Bollywood with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhani (2014), which marked his debut. However, his career couldn’t take flight in the films and he returned to TV with Dil Se Dil Tak, from which he was thrown out owing to his starry tantrums.
