Blackbuck poaching case: Salman Khan’s case hearings to take place on November 29

The arguments to be heard in the blackbuck poaching case against Salman Khan have been fixed for November 29. He has been accused of misleading the court. This order was issued by CJM Rural Court after hearing two pleas on Thursday. If Salman gets convicted in the case then he may face imprisonment of maximum seven years.

The charge against Salman is that he moved an application in the court seeking an exemption from attending the hearings as he was not well due to severe pain in his ear. However, on the same day, he was reportedly busy shooting for the film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Forest Officer Lalit Boda has filed the case against Salman alleging that he tried to mislead the court.

Salman has already been found guilty in the blackbuck poaching case by the Jodhpur Court. On April 5, he was found guilty under Section 9/51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act and was sentenced to five years in jail and was fined Rs 10,000.

However, on April 7, the actor was released from the Jodhpur jail after being granted a bail. His bail was granted on a bond of Rs 50,000 and two sureties. Before getting the bail, Salman had to spend two nights in the Jodhpur Central Jail.
