Today (March 15), the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), filed an FIR against a renowned television and Bollywood actress. The former Bigg Boss contestant who recently got married had tested positive for COVID-19 and violated rules by not cooperating with the civic body. According to sources, the BMC has filed a case against the actress at the Oshiwara Police Station.
According to the FIR, the actress was asked to quarantine herself after testing positive for COVID-19. However, she flouted the rules and went for a shoot. Reportedly, when the civic body visited her residence with a doctor, her flat was locked. The society authorities apparently informed the BMC officials that she was out for shooting. Cops were seen outside the actress's residence.
After lodging the FIR, the BMC tweeted, "No Compromise On City’s Safety! BMC has filed an FIR against a Bollywood actor for non-compliance to COVID19 guidelines on testing positive. The rules apply to all alike and we urge citizens to follow all guidelines and help the city beat the virus."
