Mumbai Police has registered a rape case against Kangana Ranaut’s personal body guard, Kumar Hegde, at DN Nagar Police station. The case was registered after medical examination and the statement of the victim on Wednesday late night. Kangana’s bodyguard is accused of raping a make-up artist on the pretext of marriage.
In her statement, the victim has alleged that she came in contact with the accused eight years ago and in June last year Hegde proposed for marriage which she accepted. Later, the accused started coming to her flat and forcibly established physical relationship with the victim on multiple occasions. She also alleged that on April 27, Hegde fled away with Rs 50,000 from her flat.

Later Hegde's mother started threatening the victim to not force him for marriage. An FIR has been registered against Hegde under IPC sections 376 (rape), 377 (unnatural sex) and 420 (cheating).
Prior to this, Kangana’s hair stylist Brendon Allister De Gee was arrested on charges of raping a minor boy in 2020. He was booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
