As per reports, Pearl V Puri is currently in judicial custody in Thane jail for allegedly raping a minor girl in 2019. The Naagin 3 actor's bail plea was to be heard in the Vasai Court today. According to the latest development, the court has rejected his bail plea and the next hearing is expected to be held on June 15. 

Pearl, who was arrested by Waliv Police on June 5 under the POSCO Act, allegedly raped the daughter of his co-star. The first hearing in Pearl's case took place on June 7. It was the second hearing for Pearl's bail in the Vasai court.

Recently, Ekta Kapoor's conversation with the victim's mother reportedly got leaked and went viral. In the audio, the actress can be heard telling Ekta that Pearl is innocent and the child's father has brainwashed her. Now, in a statement to an entertainment portal, the father issued a statement with the help of his lawyer. He slammed people who declared the child a liar. 

Pearl, known for shows like Phir Bhi Na Maane...Badtameez Dil, Naagin 3, Naagarjuna Ek Yoddha, Bepanah Pyaarr and Brahmarakshas 2, was arrested under CR IPC 376 AB, r/w POCSO Act 4, 8, 12,19, 21.
