After Raj Kundra's arrest, it was said that Poonam Pandey approached Bombay High Court to file a case against him. The businessman and husband of Shilpa Shetty is currently under police custody till July 23. Raj was arrested on Monday morning after the Mumbai Police found him to be the "key conspirator" in an alleged pornography case.
Now, Poonam has issued a statement about Raj and the entire matter. In a video, Poonam said that her heart goes out to Shilpa and her children-Viaan and Samisha. The actress told that she won't be talking about her 'trauma' amid the tense situation. "At this moment my heart goes out to Shilpa Shetty and her kids. I can’t imagine what she must be going through. So, I refuse to use this opportunity to highlight my trauma," Poonam told.
Poonam shared that she had filed a police complaint in 2019 against Raj. She further refused to talk about the case and showed faith in the judicial process. "The only thing I’ll add is that I have filed a police complaint in 2019 against Raj Kundra and subsequently registered a case at the honourable high court of Bombay against him for fraud & theft. This matter is sub judice, hence I would prefer to limit my statements. Also, I have full faith in our police & the judicial process," Poonam concluded.
Apart from Poonam, Gehana Vasisth, who are arrested in the same case and is out on bail, issued a statement regarding Raj.
