Public prosecutor reveals reason behind Raj Kundra's arrest, claims 51 pornographic films were seized by police?

It appears that problems for Raj Kundra and Ryan Thorpe aren't ending. Now, as per the latest development, public prosecutor Aruna Pai, on Saturday, claimed to the Bombay High Court that "51 pornographic films were seized" from two apps by the Mumbai Crime Branch. According to a news report, Raj and Ryan, who are currently in judicial custody, were arrested by the police when they had "started deleting WhatsApp group and chats" and hence “destroying evidence".

A news portal's report stated that the investigative agency had to prevent them from destroying evidence and hence had to arrest them. "Instead of co-operating, they started deleting content from the WhatsApp groups and chats. Thus, they started destroying evidence. When an accused starts destroying evidence the investigating authorities cannot be mute spectators, they have to prevent them. Therefore in order to prevent them, they were arrested," Aruna told.
