Money Laundering Case- Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar claims he gifted a luxury car to Nora Fatehi: Reports

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is currently investigating a Rs 200 crore money laundering case. Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar is being investigated for cheating and extortion. Lawyer Anant Malik is representing him. The ED questioned Nora Fatehi and Jacqueline Fernandez as witnesses in the case recently. Now, according to the latest reports, Sukesh has apparently claimed that he gifted a BMW car to Nora.

Reportedly, Sukesh was produced at a Delhi court on Saturday. The conman was asked by the media whether he had gifted a car to Nora. As per reports, he replied, "Yes." When the media asked which car did he give her, Sukesh reportedly said, "Why don’t you ask her (Nora) about it?”

Sukesh's lawyer reportedly told the media, "Nora Fatehi claims to be a victim but she was gifted a BMW car. Apart from that Jacqueline and Sukesh were dating, these are my instructions... This is straight from the horse’s mouth. They are the ultimate beneficiaries, that is why they are being called for questioning." In a statement, Jacqueline's team denied the claim that the actress was dating the conman.

Nora was summoned by the ED on October 14 to record her statement in the case as a witness. The actress's spokesperson clarified that she has no direct link with the case. The statement read, "Nora Fatehi has been the victim around the case and being a witness, she is co-operating and helping the officers in the investigation. We would like to make it very clear that she has not been a part of any money laundering activity, she does not know or have any personal connection with the accused and has been called by ED to strictly help with the investigation. We would like to request our fellow friends in the media to refrain from slandering her name and making any statements before any official information is released."
