In a shocking incident, film producer Kamal Kishor Mishra has been accused and booked for hitting his wife with his car. In visuals from the CCTV footage of a residential building’s parking area in West Andheri, Mishra can be seen driving over his wife when she pounded on his vehicle. Apparently, this happened after the woman caught the Dehati Disco producer with another woman in the car. A case has been registered at the Amboli Police Station.

The incident happened on October 19 when Mishra’s wife came out looking for him and found him with another woman in his car in the parking area. The CCTV footage shows a woman pounding on the car window as the vehicle speeds up and hits her. The woman comes under the wheel as people rush in towards the vehicle to drag the woman out from under the wheels. The white car zooms past as people drag the woman out. This video has gone viral on the internet. Mishra has now been apprehended and detained by Amboli police and is being interrogated.

The producer’s wife filed a complaint with the Amboli Police Station later on alleging suffering injuries to her head, legs and hands. Based on this, a First Information Report was registered under the relevant Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections.These include Section 279 (rash driving) and Section 337 (causing hurt by an act endangering life or personal safety of others). Police officials have said that investigation against the accused is underway.

Kamal Kishor Mishra is the producer of Dehati Disco (2022) that starred choreographer-dancer Ganesh Acharya in the lead. The film also stars Ravi Kishan, Manoj Joshi, and Rajesh Sharma. Directed by Manoj Sharma, Mishra produced the venture under the banner of One Entertainment Film Productions.
