Tunisha Sharma Suicide Case: Sheezan Khan's judicial custody extended by 14 days

Television actress Tunisha Sharma committed suicide on the sets of her serial Alibaba – Dastaan-e-Kabul last Saturday. A case of abetment to suicide was registered against her ex-boyfriend Sheezan Khan under Section 306 of the IPC soon after. Ever since, several new details are coming in every now and then regarding the investigation. 

Now, the latest news is that Sheezan's judicial custody has been extended for 14 days. The 27-year-old actor was arrested by Valiv Police in Palghar district on December 26 for allegedly abetting Tunisha's suicide. After a magistrate's court on December 29 extended the police custody of actor Sheezan Khan for a day, the actor’s judicial custody has now been extended by 14 days. The lawyers of the actor will not apply for bail.

Tunisha's mother had earlier accused Sheezan of having relationships with multiple girls. She also alleged that Sheezan used to consume drugs. 

Sources claim that Sheezan has been changing statements during the police recordings. “All of Sheezan’s statements are being recorded on camera. After speaking about differences in religion being one of the reasons behind the breakup, Sheezan now claims that he wanted to focus on his career and hence he broke up with Tunisha.”
