Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s mother Mehrunissa Siddiqui has filed an FIR against the actor’s wife Aaliya Siddiqui alias Zainab. Reportedly, the actor’s wife has been called in for questioning by the Versova Police in the case. It is alleged that an argument broke out between Nawazuddin’s mother and Aaliya over a property dispute. A case has been registered under sections 452, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
Zainab is Nawazuddin’s second wife as per media reports. The actor tied the knot with Aaliya aka Anjana Kishor Pandey aka Zainab over a decade ago. They have two children, a son Yaani Siddiqui and a daughter named Shora Siddiqui.

This is not the first time there has been legal trouble in the couple’s lives. Previously, Aaliya had parted ways with Nawazuddin citing domestic violence on the part of her in-laws. She had alleged that Nawazuddin was an absentee father before reversing her decision to divorce the actor.
She had told a news channel, “Earlier, he was never able to pay attention to his children. But now, I am really surprised to see him like this. Both me and Nawaz will try together to remove all the problems between us. Going forward, we will sort all the problems and misconceptions. We have been talking about this.”
