Priyanka Chopra was recently in India to decide on her next Bollywood project. After Bajirao Mastani in 2015 and a dismissal Jai Gangaajal in 2016, Priyanka had no big releases to talk about. Though in Hollywood, she made her big debut with Baywatch in 2017 and has been shooting for two upcoming projects. But as far Bollywood goes, PeeCee has no big releases in near future.

While grapevine was abuzz that Priyanka will be starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gustakhiyan, the actress' mother recently refuted these reports and stated, "She loved the script but due to her tight schedule won’t be able to do Gustakhiyan. Bhansali wanted to make the film this year, but Priyanka has no dates." Earlier, it was reported that after Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka backed from Gustakhiyan, Bhansali has approached Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play poet Sahir Ludhianvi and Pritam respectively.

Now as per reports, Piggy Chops is all s et to team up with superstar Aamir Khan in Salute. The film is based on astronaut Rakesh Sharma, and PeeCee will be seen in the role of his wife. The project will be helmed by Mahesh Mathai. Interestingly, this will be the first time that Priyanka and Aamir will be sharing screen space. In the past, the actress has worked with the other two superstar Khans - Shah Rukh (in Don, Don 2) and Salman (Mujhse Shaadi Karoge).

Priyanka's mother had confirmed that the actress will be lining some films for next year. “Priyanka is meeting a lot of directors and reading some scripts too. She will finalize something for 2018,” said Madhu.
