Farhan Akhtar and Abhishek Kapoor last collaborated on Rock On in 2008 before having a dirty fallout. The director-actor duo who won the National Award for the film went their separate ways when Abhishek dragged Akhtar to court over the script of Rock On 2.

A case was filed in 2015 by Abhishek for not giving credit for the script, as the director claimed that he and writer Pubali Chaudhari had worked on it together. Since then, the duo has kept a distance from each other.

But, according to recent reports, there seems to be a possibility of both of them coming together for a film which will be penned by Farhan’s father Javed Akhtar.

Hence, when Peeping Moon.com asked actor-singer whether he would like to collaborate with Abhishek, an excited Farhan says, “I would love to work with him again. We had a great time working together on Rock On. We remained friends through all these years and I think he will also vouch for that.”

Farhan also went on to wish the Rock On director for his next film Kedarnath with Sushant Singh Rajput and debutant Sara Ali Khan. “He has started shooting for his next film. I wish him best for the shoot; it’s not an easy film to make, giving the scale that he wants to achieve. The way he has visualized the film is something amazing," shares Farhan.

Since Farhan has taken a step forward, it would be interesting to see if Abhishek reciprocates in the same way.
