Remember Vidya Balan’s “Helloooo Mummmbaaaii” of 2006 in Lage Raho Munna Bhai as she bursts onto the screen as a RJ in the sequel to the popular Munna Bhai MBBS? Still ringing in your ears, right? The actress is back at it, seducing audiences with another throaty “Hello” … but this time as a RJ for Suresh Triveni’s comedy drama Tumhari Sulu that release on December 1.

In a one-minute teaser out on YouTube, Vidya aka Sulu is shown whispering “Hello” on her cell in a gym while people working out a sweat around her gaze on in astonishment.
Sulu is Sulochna, and after that “Hello” with eyes darting mischievously, Vidya is shown mysteriously inviting callers to connect with her. “Dil ke button se call lagaye,” she suggests, “aur mere se baat kareye.”
The message is seductively soft, but it is clear. The saree-clad Sulu is a suburban Mumbai housewife and what she has to tell people is that “Sometimes you don’t need wings to fly.” Just the red dupatta she wears as she is shown flitting off the screen is enough.

Sulu’s life turns around when she lands the job of a RJ on late night radio show. The film is directed by renowned ad film maker Suresh Triveni and produced by T-Series and Ellipsis Entertainment. The film also stars Wazir fame actor Manav Kaul, Neha Dhupia and popular professional RJ Malishka in pivotal roles. Vidya herself was last seen in Srijit Mukherji’s Begum Jaan which sunk at the box office. "Sulu will unleash my naughty side," is all she said about her role in a media interview.
