So, Anushka Sharma disses rumours that she and beau Virat Kohli are planning to collaborate on a new restaurant business. “It’s not true. Not true at all,” she says about the buzz that she and her cricketer boyfriend (or is it fiancé, as the rumours suggest?) would be starting a business venture together, for which they had allegedly even invested in real estate in Mumbai and Delhi.
Well, the restaurant business might not be on the list, but we are thrilled to see the two evidently acquiring joint-ownership properties. Nothing spells a future together than this not-so-minor detail!
It must be said that the couple has emerged stronger than ever in this second innings, so to speak, of their relationship. They are also visibly more relaxed about being seeing together in public. Recently they even shot for an ad film together, both looking gorgeous in rich traditional threads, and their chemistry complete with arch looks and shy smiles, leaping right off the screen. The duo had also holidayed together post the release of Jab Harry Met Sejal, posting images of the same on their respective Instagram accounts, though they did avoid sharing any together-clicks.
Virat has often displayed his affection for his girl via his social media posts, Anushka is still not in the mood to have a heart-to-heart with the world about her rosy relationship. Work is all she will open up about, in particular, her third home production after NH 10 and Phillauri – Pari. She describes it as an atmospheric horror minus the usual tropes associated with the genre. “No bhoots will emerge from the cupboards in the film. The response we have had to the poster has been phenomenal, and we have been encouraged a lot because of that,” she said. The film is still in the post-production stage and is being readied for a February 9 release.
We are happy to go along with the work-only attitude. What need for words when the pictures tell the real story!
