Pre-playschool… That’s the mostly unheard-of school grade that Tusshar Kapoor is shepherding his little tot to, three days a week! Devoted daddy Tusshar is ensuring one-year-old Laksshya will be ready for playschool and he believes in the importance of starting the process right now. So, pre-playschool it is, where the toddler evidently has the chance to interact with other kids, make friends and adjust to an environment outside the home.
Clearly, there is no dad like a single, by-choice one.

Tusshar is extremely focused on providing his son, born via surrogacy, with the timely and proper care he needs to develop in all areas. Thoroughly hands-on and invested in Laksshya’s upbringing, he oversees every minute detail of the tot’s care. This could well be his attempt to make up for time lost when he was a child and dad Jeetendra was too caught up with work to devote much time to the important moments in his young life.

So, work is clearly banished to the back-burner as Tusshar is completely absorbed in bringing up baby. And his fundamentals are all clear… “There are no formulas for being a father. Trust your paternal instincts. They’ll never misguide you. Go with the flow.”

This was the precise advice he had shared with another famous single father, Karan Johar who had twins born through surrogacy. Equally head over heels about his tots, Yash and Roohi, Karan has described their birth as “a powerful switch has suddenly come on in my life, filling the emptiness in my personal space with new energy.” Well-prepared for the fact that their arrival would give work, travel and social commitments second place, Karan has plans to create a Disneyland-creche at the office of Dharma Productions, where he wants them to run riot. “Aren’t they Dharma productions?” he asks. Indeed, and between him and Tusshar, they are making B-town’s mommies feel a little insecure about their parenting capabilities!
