Not everybody loves to hate Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor, whose film Raabta earlier this year was as colossal a flop as his M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story in 2016 was a box office hit, has reportedly become arrogant lately and is upsetting his seniors in the industry big time. Buzz is that the director and producers of Kedarnath, his next film in which Sara Ali Khan makes her Bollywood debut, are wondering whether it makes sense to drop Sushant from the marketing and publicity campaign of the film entirely because he’s reportedly been giving them so much of attitude lately.
But Peeping Moon.com has learned that there is an unselfish and genuinely nice side to the actor as well. And here’s proof. The story goes that after wrapping up his schedule for Kedarnath in North India, Sushant took off for Israel to begin shooting for his action drama Drive. This is a Dharma Productions film and will have Jacqueline Fernandez opposite Sushant. Instagram pictures of the actors suggest that Drive will be packed with stylish action and show a hot chemistry between Sushant and Jacqueline.
Right now, the actors are shooting a peppy romantic number for music composer Amaal Mallik at Gordon Beach in Tel Aviv which is where our story takes place. It seems that Sushant and Jackie were spotted by one Moses Saphir, a Jew of Jerusalem, who happens to be a big Bollywood fan and speaks Hindi fluently. Unburdening his excitement at meeting the actors onto Peeping Moon.com, Moses said, “I thought it would be a difficult to speak to Sushant and Jackie, but as soon as I approached them, they readily agreed to pose for pictures with my family and me! I was over the moon!”
According to Moses, Sushant was down-to-earth and also blessed his baby boy Roy. He added, “Jacqueline decided to play the role of photographer and took our pictures. She also took pictures of Roy with Sushant. I had no idea that fans loved the actor so dearly in our country! Earlier, I was a big fan of Amitabh Bachchan’s, but now I will add Sushant and Jackie and enlarge that list."
Drive is helmed by Tarun Mansukhani who is returning to direction after a decade. He last directed the Abhishek Bachchan-John Abraham-Priyanka Chopra starrer Dostana in 2008.
