They might well be all icy professionalism in the cold light of day, but that night at the Sonam Kapoor Diwali blow-out, gosh they were just gushy and gooey and utterly girly!

We’re talking about Bollywood’s divas, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and the gang. They giggled, they posed, they partied like there was no tomorrow.

They started off formally enough, the ladies and gents in their classy festive best. But soon the spirit – spirits?? – kicked in and the zaniness emerged.

For one, the pout was deemed passe. That puckering of lips which has been a firm favourite was dislodged by the incredibly idiotic tongue-popper. Kareena was guilty of flashing her tongue at the camera, as was Swara Bhaskar. We are amazed that Karan Johar was able to control himself and flash just a victory sign!

And after all that madness which they will need another 48 hours to recover from, one thing is absolutely clear: there ain’t no trouble between Kareena and Sonam. These ‘veeres’ are thick as thieves, thank you very much!
