Esha Deol has given birth to her first child on October 20, 2017. She along with her husband welcomed a baby girl at the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. The news of her delivery was a hush-hush one. Reportedly,  the baby was born around afternoon, in the presence of her father.

The parents posed for the shutterbugs today as they were all set to take the newborn home. Esha was seen in a black casual look and her smile said it all about her infinite happiness!

An ecstatic father, Bharat shared his happiness with a leading daily, "It's hard to express how happy I feel today! I think the baby looks like me and when she smiles, the world smiles at you." He admitted that Esha and he have already decided on a name for their firstborn but will officially announce it at the naming ceremony.

Esha and the newborn will return home today. The newborn's nursery is done by interior designer Noorein Jumani, and its decor revolves around the theme of nature.

The actress announced the news of her pregnancy in April this year. Hema Malini and Dharmendra have become the proud grandparents for the second time. Earlier, their daughter Ahaana and hubby Vaibhav Vohra welcomed a boy- Darien in 2015.

The constant wishes are pouring in for the actress since morning.

In a previous interview, Esha candidly spoke about pregnancy. "Since I’m pregnant, I’m prone to mood swings now but he’s (Bharat) tolerated them and is extremely protective. He’s also my best critic, encouraging me in everything I do. At the risk of sounding filmi, I’ll say I wouldn’t want to change anything, life’s beautiful!.”

Esha on a 'babymoon' to Greece with husband, Bharat and their pictures from the trip were all over the social media. Just a while back, Esha sister Ahana and husband Bharat threw a lavender theme baby shower for her. Later, a Sindhi baby shower was held for the to-be-mommy.

Esha and Bharat, a businessman, got engaged in February 2012 after dating for a couple of years. The two have been friends since childhood and finally took the plunge in June 2012. Since her wedding, Esha took a break from Bollywood and was last seen as a judge in Roadies X 2.

All during her pregnancy Esha has been on her toes and was recently seen on her mother Hema ji's biography, Beyond The Dreamgirl launch. She also posed alongside hubby Bharat last weekend on the occasion of festivities at producer's Ekta Kapoor's Diwali bash.
