Nawazuddin Siddiqui is turning out to be quite a love rat going by the sensational revelations the otherwise reticent actor has made in his memoir An Ordinary Life that has just hit bookstores. Among other ‘sexcapades’ that have caught people’s attention from the book, is the torrid one Nawaz claims to have had with former beauty queen and Bollywood actress Niharika Singh during the making of their 2012 film Miss Lovely that was based on Mumbai’s sleazy horror and porn film industry. It showed at Cannes, Toronto, Rotterdam and other international film festivals and got rave reviews before releasing in India in 2014 and winning two National Film Awards. Now Miss Lovely is in the news again thanks to Nawaz’s kiss-and-tell anecdotes from An Ordinary Life.
Reacting to the steamy secrets Nawaz has trotted out from their brief but amorous relationship, Niharika told Peeping Moon.com from Dehradun where she went for the Diwali holidays, “Nawaz and I had a brief relationship during the making of Miss Lovely that lasted less than a few months. So today when he paints me as a woman in fur enticing him into her bedroom with candles, or desperately calling him and mailing other women on his behalf, I can only laugh, He obviously wants to sell his book and it would appear that he is willing to exploit and disrespect a woman just to do so. He has chosen to fabricate stories and manipulate a fleeting relationship.”

"He obviously wants to sell his book and it would appear that he is willing to exploit and disrespect a woman just to do so."
An obviously distressed Niharika added that none of what Nawaz had written has been with her knowledge, let alone her consent. “It is this very aspect of Nawaz that caused me to end my relationship with him in the first place. I have always maintained that he’s a brilliant actor. However, I had hoped these acting skills would have remained confined only to the screen.”
What Nawaz had blithely revealed about their relationship makes racy reading.
According to the book, it lasted for almost a year-and-half. Though Niharika took the relationship seriously Nawaz’s aim was “to go to her house, make out and then leave”. He was not too much into lovey-dovey talking until it turned ugly. It all started with a dinner invite which ended up in making passionate love. “I rang the doorbell, slightly nervous. When she opened the door, revealing a glimpse of the house, I was speechless with amazement. A hundred, or so it seemed, little candles flickered beautifully. She wore soft faux fur, looking devastatingly gorgeous; her beauty illuminated even more in the candlelight. And I, being the lusty village bumpkin that I am, scooped her up in my arms and headed straight for the bedroom. We made passionate love.”
Is Niharika Singh, obviously a woman scorned, planning to take legal action against Nawazuddin Siddiqui for making their sexual relationship public? “Not yet,” she said. Which sounds ominous
