After being actually papped outside Malaika Arora’s home in the wee hours of the morning and also being spotted with at a secret rendezvous at a Bandra five-star, Arjun Kapoor is now going to greater lengths to suggest there is nothing between him and the newly-divorced Malaika.

Maybe it’s Boney Kapoor’s advice – Papa would believe that the publicity could harm his acting career – that is behind Arjun’s decision to spread the canard that whatever existed between him and the gorgeous Mala is over, and that he is unattached.
They have played it well. No sightings together at all. They even steered very clear of each other at all the Diwali dos in B-town this year. But foreign shores are another matter altogether!

Word has it that the hunky Arjun actually winged it to Dubai to wish his gorgeous gal, as she celebrated her 44^th birthday on October 23 at the Jumeirah Al Naseem hotel with her gang of gals including Aditi Govitrikar, Delnaz Daruwala and Vahbiz Mehta!
Arjun Kapoor supposedly mixed work with pleasure, as he landed in Dubai to ostensibly look into procuring property there. Work done, he landed up at Malaika’s hotel, her favourite cake in hand, to give her possibly her best surprise gift of the day – Arjun Kapoor in person! Celebrations done with, he was back in the bay the next day.

Which girl wouldn’t be floored by such a wonderful and completely unexpected gesture?! More so, when there was no danger of paparazzi lurking around in the bushes! Don’t expect the two to be going on record about their wonderful friendship, though. Neither Arjun nor Malaika are in any mood to answer persistent questions about their personal life. And we don’t blame them. Secrecy does add its own special zing, doesn’t it?
