Kareena Kapoor Khan fans will have to get used to seeing less of her on the big screen. Veere Di Wedding will only release on May 18 next year. What’s more, the new mommy is not even interested in listening to scripts as of now and has informed all those interested to approach her for narrations only from December onwards.

After the shooting of Veere… ends, Bebo is looking forward to taking herself a nice relaxing break. And mind you, it’s no week-long vacation – she has a good three-month sojourn in mind. It’s not difficult to see that the reason for the otherwise workaholic Bebo’s longing to kickback, is her darling child, Taimur. It appears that the smitten mommy wants to devote all her time to the adorable tot – and even work, which she always put first, has to take a backseat.

Kareena had come under fire from certain quarters about allegedly abandoning and neglecting her baby son. It was pointed out that Saif had resumed work soon after Taimur’s birth, promoting his film Rangoon which released in February. Kareena was not spared for allegedly lunching and partying with friends, appearing in a fashion show, and shooting a commercial in London.

Stung by this criticism, she had hit back at her detractors saying, “Motherhood doesn't mean a woman must give up on herself”. She had tackled the allegations, declaring that going out with friends didn’t make her any less of a good mother. It’s easy to see a photograph of hers and jump to conclusions about her, she added, but people don’t know her equation with her child. “We are capable of multi-tasking,” she had pointed out.

Before she could start filming Veere…, she had called it her testing ground in many ways. “I'll decide how I wish to go about my future projects after Veere Di Wedding releases. Getting back to work after having Taimur is a new experience,” she had said, adding, “Although he will be with me when we start shooting in August, even travelling with me outdoors, I don't know how he will adjust to my long absence if the film demands it…”

And, by the looks of it, Mommy has made her decision!
