Sonam Kapoor is a gal who wears her heart on her sleeve and currently it beats very strongly for R. Balki! The filmmaker directs her in Padman, which also stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte in lead roles. Sonam, who is supposedly playing the role of a tabla player in the film, has been thoroughly enjoying the experience of working with Balki, who has films such as Ki & Ka, Paa and Cheeni Kum to his credit.
During a fan interaction on the occasion of her hitting the 11 million follower mark on Twitter, she happily gushed, “I have been a fan of R. Balki since the beginning and I was itching to work with him not realizing, when I do work with him, I will just fall in love with the kind of human being he is and the kind of work he wants to do. He is truly an artist and thinks differently. He wants to say something which each of his films. We have a great rapport. I keep teasing him that he will miss me so much after the shoot is wrapped up but honestly, it is me who will miss him.”
That is sweet of Sonam, who always likes to tell it just like it is!
