Will Shahid star opposite wife Mira? She just has to say yes!

They do make a gorgeous couple, Shahid and his stunning wife Mira Rajput. Understandably, they have often fielded questions about whether Mira will also make her Bollywood film debut, opposite her dishy husband. And apparently she just could! During the course of an interview, Shahid addressed this question again, and he declared, “It’s quite interesting and surprising how this has randomly been coming up in the media (laughs). But it’s for her to decide.”

Somehow we don’t see that happening any time soon. Just 10 months after delivering Misha, news had filtered in about the new mum being ready for another pregnancy! Shahid himself had revealed, “Mira, who is just 22, would prefer to have a second kid soon as well. She wants to flip the norm, get the kids to a certain age and then be free to do what she likes.” Mira had also declared that her baby was her top priority and like any mother, she wanted what's best for Misha. “I want Misha to have a childhood like other kids. I wish that she is grateful for all she has. I want to be unconditional with my love, but frugal with privileges,” she had stated.

She had also revealed that she was interested in a career in lifestyle and food, “a field that is creatively stimulating, but also allows me time with family. Perhaps something with food, or lifestyle.” Of course, that would only happen when she decided the time is right – and that would most likely be way after they welcome their second tot into the world!

This pair of doting parents looks much too wrapped up with family to change the status quo as of now. Shahid loves being a hands-on daddy too, as he beamed, “I love spending time with Misha. I consider myself lucky that I get to spend as much time with her as I do. I’ve seen her grow from a one-day-old to a 14-month-old and it’s just been such a precious journey.”

“Mira and Misha are my entire world,” he underlines, adding, “I’m extremely close to them and they are my top priorities. My life right now is about being a good husband and a father. I want to spend the maximum amount of time and focus on them.”
