You don’t treat Farah Khan any old way and expect her not to react. However, we suspect even the team handling the special screenings of Firangi - not to mention the leading man Kapil Sharma himself - must have been taken aback to see Farah Khan’s blunt and cutting reaction to their slipshod invite… “Dear Mannerless people,” she wrote, “If you want me to attend your premier/ preview/ party DON’T send me a “janta invite” on WhatsApp! You are not doing me a favour! The least you can do is make a personal call. If you can’t find the time for it what makes you think I have time to get ready and come for you??!”

Considering there were only two Bollywood releases, and Firangi was the only one to have a proper preview screening, the finger of suspicion naturally points at this Kapil Sharma film, especially since she and the comedian-actor have shared many laughs together on his TV show. She hesitated to name him though, claiming, that it was not just Kapil Sharma, and there were two to three other events happening on the same day. “I was referring to all of them,” she claimed. Nice try, Ms. Khan!

“I’ve stopped inviting him to parties because he starts bitching about everybody!” With this revelation, she let us know exactly what Karan Johar gets up to at get-togethers.
“I don’t want to take anyone’s name, I don’t want to get caught in between. But every time you are playing a woman’s card. For me feminism is equality.” She said this, referring to Kangana Ranaut at the height of the actress’s controversy with Hrithik.
“I think we don't take each other for granted anymore. When you lose a friendship like that, you realise the worth of it.” She said this post her patch-up with Shah Rukh, which followed a long and hurt period after the superstar’s spat with Farah’s husband, Shirish Kunder.
“Films have changed a lot in the last few years. The audience wants fresh content, which is now forcing the makers to do something different, and re-evaluate and reinvent their original style of filmmaking. I know now that when I make a movie, it can't be what I made earlier. I will still make it entertaining, but it has to be more realistic than my previous ones.” Now that was one realistic assessment of her own brand of filmmaking!
