It’s been a year since Dangal released and the film is still on a winning spree. Last night, Dangal won the Best Asian Film Award at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts awards in Sydney and film’s actress Sakshi Tanwar, the popular face of Indian TV as well received the honour on the unit's behalf.
But the icing on the cake was Sakshi receiving the trophy from Russell Crowe! Ms. Tanwar, who played the role of Mahavir Phogat's wife in the film, couldn’t contain her excitement on stage when Rusell embraced him in a warm hug. She even clicked a picture with Mr. Crowe backstage.
