Even as speculation mounts regarding Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli allegedly tying the knot this weekend, we bring you more reasons that virtually prove D-day will dawn in Italy…
Priest in waiting!
Even as we gloated over the images of Anushka, her parents and brother, Karnesh, at the airport as they left for Italy, a certain important person with them nearly slipped by unnoticed...
Maharaj Anant Baba of Anant Dham Atmabodh Ashram in Haridwar is the same spiritual guru who Anushka and Virat had met last year while on their trip to Uttarakhand when they had spent New Year’s eve with their families and had supposedly got engaged on that trip. Though the rumours were never confirmed.
The same priest made his appearance again, as he boarded the flight along with the couple and their relatives. Not that they are even trying, but it would be difficult for the couple to explain the need for priestly duties on a vacation in Italy!
Neighbours get invitations…
Buzz goes that while Sharma and Kohli will tie the knot in a private ceremony on December 11, with events starting from December 9, Anukshka’s father Ajay Kumar Sharma has personally invited the family’s neighbours for the wedding. Close friends from their residential building have supposedly received calls from the actress’s father, informing them of her impending wedding and seeking their blessings for the couple.
They have, of course, been requested to keep the news private to avoid media speculation. It is claimed that the couple will have a court marriage once they return from Italy, with a five-star hotel also reportedly booked for the wedding festivities.
Childhood coach takes leave…
And the evidence is just building up…!
What was every bride’s favouritest wedding designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee doing, exiting Anushka’s building recently?
And while Virat being sanctioned leave from the cricket series is old hat, why did his childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma also need to apply for leave on the same dates?? The gent in question has taken a break from a CK Nayudu U-23 semi-final game that Delhi is supposed to play against Tamil Nadu at the Airforce Complex ground in Palam on Friday.
Thanks Virushka, we are absolutely loving all this clandestine business!
