Just yesterday we heard that Kangana Ranaut was upset with veteran lyricist-writer Javed Akhtar for advising her to stop taking pot-shots in public at Hrithik and his family. This had been implied by the fiery actress herself, as she opened up about her refusal to sign a petition spearheaded by his wife Shabana Azmi. “Being a part of a feminist movement called Deepika Bachao led by someone who character assassinated me when I was bullied by influential men,” did not find favour with her at all, and she had no qualms about showing it.

Incidentally, this was the first reference to her controversy with Hrithik, in a longish while. That peaceful break however is a thing of the past now, as the actress is back to hammering forth her version of the affair-gone-wrong. In a video released online, her lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee is to be seen attempting to demolish all the “lies” told by Hrithik 62 days ago, during the course of his ‘explosive’ interview with Arnab Goswami in October.

The statement by advocate Siddiquee, who represents Kangana, states, “The sequence of events leaves us confused. How did Mr. Hrithik Roshan know in advance that he will receive the last mail from my client's hacked account on 11th of December 2014 and he makes a false police complaint the very next day i.e. 12th of December 2014, and that too without informing my client who is a concerned party.

Why did Mr. Hrithik Roshan not reveal his London trip of December 2013 and why was he trying to mislead viewers by flashing pages of his passport on television, which pertain to Jan 2015 and not December 2013 or January 2014.

How did the impostor disappear immediately after my client met Mr. Hrithik Roshan at Mr. Karan Johar's party. The impostor also never caused any damage.

The interview of Mr. Roshan not only shows the extent of blatant lies but also show how he has been misleading everyone.”

The recording also shows Siddiquee countering Hrithik’s claims of not knowing how to block emails, among other things.

Now sit back and wait. The response from Hrithik’s legal team should not be long in coming. The controversy that kicked off in early 2016, when Hrithik responded to a 'silly ex' remark made by Kangana, is still alive and kicking us in the head.
