No meeting in Bollywood can pass off minus comment and speculation! And invariably there is fire to the smoke… Shahid Kapoor’s recent meet with filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra at his office has sparked off rumours of a collaboration between the two. Buzz goes that the two met and discussed the idea of doing a movie together. “Although nothing is on paper yet, the actor has shown a keen interest in Mehra’s film on kabaddi,” said a source to a daily.

Shahid is apparently very keen on doing a sports film, a genre he hasn’t delved into before. The meeting with Mehra supposedly saw him showing his openness to the project. Incidentally, this is the very same film that Hrithik Roshan had declined not long ago, sending Mehra and producer Ronnie Screwvala into a tizzy!

More speculation in store as word comes in that Hrithik Roshan could well be planning to combine forces with Rohit Dhawan. Even as he will revisit his superhero avatar for Krrish 4, he could sign on another superhero movie, to be directed by Rohit. Hrithik and Rohit, son of David and elder brother to Varun, go back a long way. When the director of hits like Desi Boyz and Dishoom shared the basic idea of a film with Hrithik, the star took an immediate liking to it and has requested him to develop the story as soon as possible. While Hrithik has greenlighted the film verbally, the details will be fine-tuned once the final script is complete.

Buzz goes that Rohit is planning to go all out for the film, ensuring the VFX and CGI are comparable with Hollywood superhero standards. The film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, who had produced Rohit's Dishoom as well.

Incidentally, Hrithik starts filming Super 30 soon – the same film on mathematician and IIT coach Anand Kumar, for which Shahid had originally been considered!
