This is Akshay Kumar’s Christmas look. The actor, who exhausted himself completing three films for 2018 (Padman, 2.0 and Gold), is now due for his Christmas and New Year break. It’s a month-long holiday that he takes from filmmaking annually. In which, this time, Akshay, wife Twinkle and their kids Aarav and Nitara head to South Africa for the festive season. They will also bring in Twinkle’s birthday on December 29, between Christmas and New Year. The family leaves on Friday, after Akshay and Twinkle proudly present the first song from their film Padman before the media at the PVR Juhu tomorrow. It’s a love song, that’s all that is known about it right now. The film is an adaptation by director R. Balki of the story ‘The Sanitary Man’ from Twinkle’s bestselling novel The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad.
Meanwhile, PeepingMoon.com approves of this grizzled, buzz cut look for Akshay. He is, without exception, the only actor in Bollywood who does not hide his graying hair and beard. In between films, perhaps tired of being in character and looking after his hair for months on end, Akshay lets himself cut loose. It is a look the media and the actor’s huge fan following is familiar with, because Akshay steps out like this, unshaved and un-dyed. Last week, the actor and Tina were spotted at the PVR in Juhu where they had caught a film, and later at dinner in a Bandra fine dining restaurant, with Akshay unconcerned about the paparazzo catching him with the heavy gray stubble. His head was covered by a beanie. But this morning, he went in for change. A short sides and back haircut, and the moustache and beard trimmed close. But the grays stayed.

The stylist who takes care of his hair once remarked that Akshay Kumar has the perfect head. “Like Bruce Willis,” the stylist added. Bollywood stylists are creative visionaries. And as any actor knows, the key to finding a suitable look for their next film depends on the shape of their head, their facial proportions and angles. All of which gives the stylist opportunity and space to highlight certain features in and actor and hide some. But they never have a problem with Akshay Kumar. This is his look for Christmas. After the box office successes this year of his films Jolly LLB 2 and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, the actor has enough reason to be Ho! Ho! Ho! at the end of 2017. But Santa Claus wants to know, is this also the Khiladi's look for his film Kesari that he begins early in 2018?
