Can we get enough of the little prince? More updates coming in from Taimur Ali Khan’s first birthday party…
Outdoorsy Fun
The kiddie do held earlier in the day was all about outdoorsy fun. Taimur looked every bit the little prince in an off-white Nehru jacket, teamed with a baby pink shirt and white pants. The cool temperatures combined with the sprawling green lawns made it the perfect setting for the little prince and his loved ones. Coloured balloons and cheery bunting bobbed prettily all around, while the colourful play area for kids was expectedly a hit.

Animal Attractions!
A charming three-tier cake was in evidence, the theme being an animal safari. The animal forms dotting the creation were especially attractive to the little birthday boy. From a monkey to a giraffe to a cute tiger sitting at the top, who could resist? Not our little birthday boy, who couldn’t seem to keep his hands off his cake, though we did spot grandma Sharmila Tagore attempt to keep his little paws off for a while!
Bonfire Evening
When the sun goes down, it’s time for the grown-ups to come out, wine and shine! Fairy lights dripped from the trees and Turkish lanterns cast their beautiful glow, as the palace grounds looked their splendid best. Coming the party, the unofficial dress code appeared to have been black and stylish – and the guests absolutely nailed it. We love the images of Taimur’s maternal grandparents, Randhir Kapoor and Babita posing for a keepsake - Randhir’s shoes are royal affair in themselves! – and the warmth that spills over as they are joined by their lovely daughters, Karisma and Kareena.

Sparkle Time
The firelight shows off the terrific trio – Amrita Arora, Kareena and Karisma, at their gorgeous best. Looking utterly stylish in black sequinned outfits, complete with scarlet lips, these ladies are glamour royalty alright. And we can safely say that Karan Kapoor, that once-dishy model for Bombay Dyeing, has lost none of his inherent hotness over the decades!
