On Wednesday Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli invited the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to their reception on the 21st of December.

Proving that Modiji is a man of his words, he visited the newlyweds at the Durbar Hall in The Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi for their reception.

Earlier yesterday, upon the couple's meet with Modiji, The Prime Minister's Office took to Twitter to share the duo talking to the prime minister, “Captain of the Indian cricket team @imVkohli and noted actor @AnushkaSharma met PM @narendramodi this evening. The Prime Minister congratulated them on their wedding.”

The couple will be hosting another reception on December 26 for industry friends and cricketers before returning back to their busy schedule.
