Mouni Roy will also play a key role in the movie. Produced by Karan Johar, the film's first part is slated to release on August 15, 2019.
The two leading stars have started prepping for the role since November. No pain, no gain, right? In an Instagram video, Ranbir was spotted taking DJ lessons at New York's 'The Foxgrove'. Earlier, the director spoke about the storyline to a leading daily "In its core, it has romance as an element but it has got a new flavor to it." He also said: "It's a huge project and a lot of people have faith in it and in me so I need to deliver for my own career, for the producer, the actors, and the entire crew."
Ranbir has previously headlined the cast of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil directed by Karan and Wake Up Sid directed by Ayan. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was also produced by Dharma Productions.
We can only wait for what's in store next...
