Total Dhamaal will also see the return of the comic gang of Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffrey, Sanjay Mishra along with Boman Irani. In 2007, the first installment of the film Dhamaal released which was a hit at the box office. Then came the sequel Double Dhamaal (2011) witnessed the similar success.
According to a leading daily, Ajay is co-producing the movie with Indra and Ashok Thakeria. An insider revealed to the daily, "When Indu (Indra Kumar) gave him a detailed narration, Ajay who rarely laughs, was actually laughing out loud. He liked what he heard but he had just one pre-condition — the humour should be clean, with no double-entendre. In other words, Total Dhamaal, which is slated to release in December 2018, is being packaged carefully to entertain and not embarrass any of the actors acting in it or those watching it."
Presented by Fox Star Studios, Total Dhamaal is produced by Ajay Devgn Films, Ashok Thakeria, Markand Adhikari, Anand Pandit and Fox Star Studios and is directed by Indra Kumar.
