Despite the predictable denials, it appears that prep for the grand Sonam Kapoor -Anand Ahuja nuptials is gathering steam. No effort is being spared to make their wedding nothing short of uber spectacular, utterly stylish and heart-warmingly special.
Sonam’s sister, producer and go-to style maven Rhea Kapoor is naturally very much part of the proceedings as well. In fact, reports suggest that she is planning arguably the most important part of the wedding – the honeymoon!

Of course, it is all supposed to be hush-hush right now; not even the bride knows what is in store for her! Rhea is putting all her expertise to work, to design the most stunning and exotic honeymoon for her sister and her brother-in-law-to-be, Anand Ahuja. However, Rhea’s efforts to zero in on a premium luxury retreat is far from being an easy task, given Sonam and Anand are such well-traveled people in the first place!
If Sonam and her beau had welcomed New Year’s in France, they have been regularly getting mushy in London, or having themselves a hush-hush break in Los Angeles. Vacations in New York are also de rigueur for this stylish and fun twosome, who also loves to shop in Singapore. What’s more, even work happens in the most exotic destinations – last year, Sonam and her gang of Veere Di Wedding girls had a grand time exploring Phuket. And then Sri Lanka happened too! …Like we said, poor Rhea has her work cut out!
The famed wedding jewellery is apparently already being decided upon, as Sonam was recently spotted shopping at Raj Mahtani’s high-end jewellery store in Kolkata. Sonam was supposedly accompanied by one of her fave fashion designers, Anamika Khanna, and also by her beau Anand’s mother.
Naturally, interest is high in her reported March wedding which will evidently take place at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur. Wedding planners have supposedly already been sought for this mammoth event, which will most likely be the Wedding of the Decade!
