Katrina needs to give Isabelle some advice ASAP!

When Katrina Kaif’s younger sister Isabelle was recently asked whether she would pick modelling or acting, she had shot back, “Both, why do you have to choose one?!” Well, if a film career in Bollywood features in her plans – she has already been signed up as a brand ambassador for Lakme – she had best watch out for any rumours of unprofessional behaviour. In fact, rumours are already swirling about her right now…

Apparently, the lovely Isabelle was rather difficult during a recent ad shoot. She supposedly had an issue with the lighting and actually wasted a good deal of time complaining about it. She had an issue shooting in normal light, which led to her delaying the shoot. To top that, the London-based Isabelle who had made her film debut in 2014 with Dr Cabbie alongside Kunal Nayyar, had her dos and don’ts regarding the questions she would allow… She had allegedly instructed her team to not allow the media to ask any questions on Bollywood.

Well, well, it gets stranger and stranger!

The final coup she delivered when she finished with the video interviews and then left the venue without completing the print interviews! Reason: she just had to leave. Not done, young lady. Time for older sis Katrina to sit her down and give her a quick course on how not to ruin your career in Bollywood even before it has properly started!

Incidentally, Isabelle would have us believe that the offer to be the face of a leading brand simply dropped into her lap. “I was here in Mumbai just visiting and happened to be doing some shoots when I heard (the brand) was looking for a new face. We invited them to come see me shoot and it just evolved from there.”

Isabelle has also shared that her sister “is a great role model to look up to,” adding that in this industry one has to develop a thicker skin for criticism to roll off you. “People are going to say what they have to say, you got to just keep your head down and focus on your work and be you,” she had said.

Admirable philosophy but it would serve Isabelle better to listen to what people are saying right now and rectify matters ASAP!
