Bae & Boe: Taapsee very much with Mathias!

Taapsee Pannu has been plagued by break-up rumours for a while. It was reported that she and Danish boyfriend, badminton player and Olympic silver medallist Mathias Boe, were facing rough weather. The long-distance relationship supposedly couldn’t cope with the pressures and she had moved on to another love interest. Or maybe not…

A source close to the Pink actress reveals that nothing could be further from the truth. Apparently, Taapsee and Mathias took off to Goa to celebrate the holidays together. They were joined by Taapsee’s sister, Shagun, who is very close to Mathias as well. However, they could not spend New Year’s together as Boe had to fly to Lucknow for the Premier Badminton League on January 1.

Taapsee is close to her beau’s parents as well and took time out from her busy schedule to meet them when they were in Mumbai.

The bottom-line, as we are told, is that the couple who has been dating ever since they met four years back during the Indian Badminton League in 2013, are still very much an item.

In the past, Taapsee has admitted to her relationship, saying, “I'm in an extremely good state in my personal life. Now, why I don't talk about it in the media is not because I'm ashamed to accept it, but because if I do, then everything will be centred around that and people will start talking about that more than the work I do, which I don't want. That is the only reason I don't want to talk about it. Otherwise, I'm extremely proud of my relationship status and the person I'm with.”

In 2015 Taapsee had also shared that marriage would happen when she was done with acting and had enjoyed the profession enough. “I will then uproot myself from this country and profession and start a new life from scratch. I want to start a new life and want to do more in life than just being an actress. Whether I get married or not, I always wanted to get out of India as after becoming an actress, you can't live a normal life here.”
Looks like she is going ahead with her plan alright!
