I feel blessed, Nisha is really special: Sunny Leone

Sunny Leone has always been in the news either for her sizzling dance numbers or her TV show appearances or her brand endorsements. However, she's proved to be more than the image portrayed by the media. From shutting down judgemental interviewers to voicing out her feministic views, Sunny wooes her fans on screen and off screen.

It was in July when the Sunny with husband Daniel Weber adopted a baby girl the social media was buzzing, leaving everyone pleasantly surprised. The kid named Nisha Kaur Weber who hails from Latur, Maharashtra hogged headlines in no time.

Sunny who recently attended Dabboo Ratnani's 2018 Calendar launch was all talks when asked about her baby girl. Check it out!

"It was my sixth month anniversary three days ago. I am so beyond excited that it's been six months and it feels like I've known her for a long time even though it hasn't been that long. I feel really blessed. I know every parent says this about their children but she's really special."

And speaking of the sixth month anniversary, the couple did not hold back any expenses to throw a lavish party. Or as Daniel might call it "a carnival".

"I got the bouncy house. We got the tables and the chairs and the barbeque. We have a really nice property in LA so I put games everywhere and barbeque. It was a beautiful day! I bought cakes for all the kids. And it was just nice! We did good. We killed it!" queue victory high five with hubby

Further speaking about the joys of parenting, Daniel chimed in, "Every minute that we get a chance, we like change or shift things. We constantly check up on Nisha if she has to move this side or the other side. Every morning she [Sunny] drops her off, I pick her up from school."

And when asked about how much their individual life has changed since Nisha's arrival, this is what Daniel had to say, "We're secondary. Everything for us is like what's best for Nisha. That's what we think about first which is quite interesting because we were definitely as selfish as anybody before."

And although the child has visited "Africa, China, Singapore, Dubai, LA, Arizona" Sunny and Daniel make sure to incorporate a sense of normalcy with Nisha and their lives, "I don't see our profession so much different from mom and dad in today's society or nuclear family. With mom and dad working from 9 to 5, is it really that different? The nice thing about life is that we get to schedule life according to our child. We don't have anybody to answer to but ourselves. Everything works out the way that it should."

The toddler who was turned down by 11 parents due to physical appearance and skin colour along with the medical history is now like an angel to Sunny. While the entire film fraternity sent Sunny and Daniel congratulatory messages for the move, many others were lauding the couple for breaking stereotypes and becoming the latest entrant into the list of Bollywood celebrities who preferred adoption than having biological kids.
